Since April 2016 we have been running ‘Foody Fridays’, a very informal cooking project encouraging the young people to find the confidence to cook and create tasty and healthy soups alongside satisfying tray bakes. Not only has this project received external funding we are also partnering with ‘FareShare’ a food waste minimisation initiative supported through our local Tescos store.
In 2016 we celebrated 25 years of Bringing Hope to the young people of Linlithgow and its surrounding areas.
To mark this milestone, we held a Gala Dinner at Linlithgow Burgh Halls and raised over £3000 for our work. We want to thank everyone who helped make this such a special night and we look forward to watching our work develop over the next 25 years.
As part of the October holidays we hosted an overnight event in St Johns church in conjunction with St Johns Church and St Michaels churches to raise funds and the young people’s interest and understanding of the plight of refugees.
